First Nations Support
At St Augustine's College, we recognise the First Nations Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which our College is located and where we conduct our business, the Yagara peoples. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging. St Augustine's College is committed to honouring Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' unique cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and seas and their rich contribution to Australian society, and our College community.
We are dedicated to building a College environment where First Nations culture is respected and celebrated and where all students are exposed to an education that expands their understanding of First Nations' perspectives and cultures; creating aware, informed and civically responsible young people with the knowledge and understanding to enhance our Australian nation into the future. Collaboration with Elders and First Nations families and community is vital to the authentic celebration and teaching of perspectives and culture and is a key component of our College business.
